The dramedy will return for a second season.

It is being reported that HBO has renewed freshman series Looking for a second season. The half-hour dramedy premiered last month with an 8-episode order. There is no word yet on a premiere date or the number of episodes for Season 2, but production will get under way later this year.
Update: Season 2 of Looking will premiere on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 10:00pm.

Really? Just 8 episodes? Seasons get shorter and shorter by the year... And this series has very short episodes, so almost no stories can be really told... Like this series but come on! 24 episodes 45 min a piece!
