The dramedy will not return for Season 3.

It is being reported that HBO has cancelled Looking after two seasons. The bad news, which comes days after the dramedy's second season finale, is likely due to sliding ratings experienced during the latter half of its run.
In a statement, the network announced that a special episode is being prepared that will serve as a final chapter to the story.

I finally got my partner to watch it and he loved it, not sure why it was canned, it cant be exy to make!!!!? I enjoyed the second season more then the first. Took me a while to get into the first season, I was hooked after Jonathan and Raul's fist date - it seemed like a real first date, well like my first date with my partner and we're still together 26yrs later. The whole monogamy debate ending the second season was fantastic - the writing was great, performances honest and real. I enjoyed it immensely, don't need to see a 7 year run. Thanks HOB! Still I was wanting to see super gay Russell Tovey be revealed as the shallow guy he was turning out to be, I just didn't buy the devoted gay act wanting to make it work, he was in the relationship for the green card :D TOvey is sex of a stick and those ears!! Very useful lol

really? I'm straight and I could find myself enjoying the show because of the good performances delivered by the cast, not cool HBO, not cool

So sad. I love the characters. I totally related to them.

Very sad to see this show go. I've really been enjoying it. I was hoping to see how the storylines continued. Bummer.

Very sad to see this show over - it was a good show - with good characters - I don't think it was given enough time to play out - wish they would reconsider.

Uninteresting slice of life series....go to any popular gay bar to watch it continue and see how things turn out. But I too liked the cast, it's just that Ive seen this story over and over and over.

Way to go! This show had too specific of an audience and I never seen comedy in it all. Loved the cast though and hope to see more of them in the future.
