Fox has cancelled new series Surviving Jack after one season. The freshman comedy will end after a short 8-episode run with its scheduled finale on May 15.
The network had originally ordered 13 episodes in early 2013, but cut that number down to eight late last year. The show finally premiered this past March but failed to draw significant viewership.

I loved that show. It was right up there with Modern Family as far as my favorites to watch. My teens thought it was hilarious, also! BRING IT BACK! Who are these Nielsen families? I need to be one cuz too many great shows get cancelled!!!

I really loved this show. A good show with good family morals. It's a shame it was cancelled.

Why, why? I looked forward to coming home from work and having a relaxing evening treating myself to Surviving Jack even though it was once a week - it was my comfort zone. Please bring it back.

Why would you cancel a show this good this soon? I will never watch FOX again as a protest.

This was the best show on television....I hope another network will pick it up and put it in a time slot that people will watch and give it a chance. 8 episodes doesn't tell the story except that it was f-u-n-n-y!

Please bring Surviving Jack back. It was hilarious! Gave my husband and I great ideas on discipling our children.

PLEASE BRING IT BACK! This show is so good. My boyfriend and i rarely like the same shows and this was one that we loved to watch together.
