A comedy following a stay-at-home dad using non-traditional methods to raise his kids.
Based on Justin Halpern's autobiographical book, "I Suck at Girls", this comedy set in the '90s follows Jack Dunlevy, a father putting his career on hold so that his wife can pursue a career in law.
Jack is new to this level of involvement in parenting, and has his hands full with his teenage son and daughter, who are each dealing with their own issues. But no matter the situation, Jack is always there to try and put them on the right path.

Still waiting for this show to come back. I loved it! Best show in years, too bad it was cancelled so quickly.

this was a great show - wish there would be more of them. very funny, loved the '90s focus ... for once we escaped reality TV plus exited the morass of 1970s influenced culture. die, '70s, die.

Not too bad a start for Christopher Meloni (Law & Order:SVU). The script could've taken a different turn (plot twist) to keep viewers coming back for more. But overall, I can't complain. Too bad the writers didn't listen to the fans.

First ;you cancel Surviving Jack and now Red Band Society, what is wrong with FOX? You don't realize what good television looks like, you do understand that people DVR shows right? I will not watch Fox television in first seasons, you pull the trigger on the good shows and too quickly!

Wow. This is just like Fox, cancel the good shows. Just like how they canceled Firefly. This was one of the best shows on! It was fresh and always hilarious.

Are you kidding?! Surviving Jack was hilarious and Chris Meloni was great as Jack.Hopefully FOX smartens up and gives this show another try and maybe put it on earlier and a different night. Obviously Fox doesn't know what makes people laugh, especially good, clean realistic comedy. Sick to death of all the same old kind of crap sitcoms that have all the lib, politally correct junk of today on them. C'mon put it on again.

I loved Surviving Jack as did all of my family and friends. FOX should really reconsider renewing. It probably didn't get great reviews because of it's time slot. It needs to go on at 9 not 10 and certainly not after AI. Alot of people go to local news at 10 over a sitcom. PLEASE RENEW!!We love Jack! Perhaps another station should pick it up.
