Fox has cancelled new series Surviving Jack after one season. The freshman comedy will end after a short 8-episode run with its scheduled finale on May 15.
The network had originally ordered 13 episodes in early 2013, but cut that number down to eight late last year. The show finally premiered this past March but failed to draw significant viewership.

Seriously, canceled?! This was one of the best shows in a long time. My whole family, ages 10-47, looked forward to this show every week. Bring it back!! We don't need any more reality shows or shows with no value.

Once again, a real classic winner will be replaced by another meaningless crude and obnoxious reality show. This was the funniest, smartest show I have seen in a long time. Made me laugh hard every single episode! Yet, no advertising with 500 trailer spots, like, oh let's say "I wanna marry Harry"! Now THERE's a true TV GEM! makes you wanna puke.

You clearly did not give "Surviving Jack" a good enough chance at survival. I for one had not heard of it and missed the first few episodes. My son in law told me about it and I think it is the funniest thing I've seen in years! Plus it has Christopher Meloni. What else do you need? Please reconsider as it is a shame to let it go so quickly. I watch way too much TV but this is one of the few shows I anxiously looked forward to.

What a disappointment! "Surviving Jack" was television gold! Chris Meloni was brilliant and the entire cast was perfectly selected. Hopefully another network picks up this great series. Once again, Fox drops the ball on a television classic in the making.

This show was the best!!!! My bf loved it and he hates all the shows I like. He would sit here laugh uncontrollably and joke about raising his kids the very same way!!!

FOX screws up again. Surviving Jack was a classic. Most people grew up with or knew a parent just like Jack. How can you possibly cancel this show? Finally a show I was interested in and could relate to. Horrible

Awwwww....I really liked this show. I thought it was great. It was nice to see Chris Meloni in something other than Law and Order reruns. Gave me some great ideas for raising my daughter. Please bring it back!!!
