Fox has cancelled new series Surviving Jack after one season. The freshman comedy will end after a short 8-episode run with its scheduled finale on May 15.
The network had originally ordered 13 episodes in early 2013, but cut that number down to eight late last year. The show finally premiered this past March but failed to draw significant viewership.

I'm so upset! This show was awesome! My husband and both of my 20 year old daughters thought Meloni and the son were hysterical in every episode! Please don't cancel this show!

This is crazy. Surviving Jack was one of the best shows on now. It would have taken off had they given it more advertising and a little time. Great show....horribly disappointed by the cancellation.

Aaawwwww man!!! I really liked this show. Every single show I enjoyed on all of the networks is cancelled.. What the heck is going on? I think it's the same guy sitting at one desk pulling the plugs left and right on all the great comedies and making room for more mindless reality shows. I am so frustrated with all of these cancellations this month!

Fox sucks, Surviving Jack is hilarious!!! The only worthwhile show to watch on Fox. Christopher Meloni is great.

Fox made the same mistake with Family Guy. Hopefully a smarter network will continue showing Surviving Jack, and it will get another chance - like what happened with Family Guy. The cast of Surviving Jack was great, most of the episodes were very funny, and it was the only show I was looking forward to for a few weeks there - besides Game of Thrones. Brooklyn 9 9 is pretty solid too, but it seems like there was room for Surviving Jack too.

Extremely disappointed in Fox for canceling this show. My whole family faithfully watched this show together. The best show that has come out in a very long time. My kids are all very upset to hear that this will not be on any more. We can only hope that another network will be smart enough to pick it up.

DO NOT CANCEL THING SHOP IT IS SO FUNNY...MY HUSBAND HATES COMEDIES ON TV BUT HE LOVE THING ONE...WE LAUGH OUR BUT OFF...PLEASE KEEP IT ON GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE...
