Fox has cancelled new series Surviving Jack after one season. The freshman comedy will end after a short 8-episode run with its scheduled finale on May 15.
The network had originally ordered 13 episodes in early 2013, but cut that number down to eight late last year. The show finally premiered this past March but failed to draw significant viewership.

PLEASE DON'T DO IT!!!I am sick to death of "reality" tv.... this show is laugh out loud funny!!!!! Please.... keep this show... I really think it could be the next Big Bang.

I absolutely loved this show! I laughed so hard and could relate to the parents and the kids growing up in the 80's. I loved seeing the clothes I wore as a teenager and the clothes my mom wore. I never watch a show twice but this show I would do. I can't believe FOX cancelled this show!!! They need to rethink this. I love Christopher Mellon. He imbodies the kind of husband every woman wants.

Fox is an idiot, I loved this show , I laughed soo every show that I usually ended up crying too,It was hilarous, It was the only sitcom that was even worth watching, nowdays it's all about reality tv, I am tired of stupid reality shows taking up all the time slots,Bring back Suriving Jack !!!!!! I hope another network is smart enough to pick it up !!!!

FOX you made a mistake canceling! A smart, funny, comedy and you throw in the towel? We laughed so hard every week that we cried! Hope it finds a home on another network! Idiots!

Big mistake... I don't even watch that much tv and I loved it... I was just seeing when it was back on ans saw you canceled it. It was the funniest show. I went to work in tears talking about the episode. Definitely, aired it at the wrong time, during American idol finals... People who just sat for two hours, may not have had time to sit for another 30 min... Bring it back

This show was great....and hit on core life issues! Maybe networks need to find a way to Count DVR Recordings....after all this is 2014 and people record and watch at a later time!!!!!

Funniest show in years and it is gone after 8 episodes? I knew the people at Fox News were idiots and I guess it carried over to Fox programming.

Can't believe you cancelled this show!! It was laugh out loud funny!! There has not been a sitcom in the last several years worth watching and then finally Surviving Jack came along. Don't know what you people t Fox are thinking.

I don't usually watch half hour sitcoms but this show is hysterical. Big mistake to cancel it. It's a show that families can actually watch together.
