Fox has cancelled new series Surviving Jack after one season. The freshman comedy will end after a short 8-episode run with its scheduled finale on May 15.
The network had originally ordered 13 episodes in early 2013, but cut that number down to eight late last year. The show finally premiered this past March but failed to draw significant viewership.

PLEASE FOX RETHINK YOUR DECISION. This is one of the funniest sitcoms to come out in a long time. If you don't want them back TNT or USA should pick this up. Surviving Jack is a laugh out loud great family show. Again, RETHINK YOUR DECISION FOX OR SOMEONE PICK IT UP!!!

Surviving Jack was the best show on television. Far and away the best sitcom to come along in years. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!

What is wrong with you people at FOX? First "Enlisted", now "Surviving Jack"?!!!!! Is it your normal policy to cancel shows that require someone to have a brain, and enjoy comedy that you have to think about? If that's the case, then put on those stupid mindless reality (I don't know whose though) shows. I grew up with television, but am slowly taking it out of my life. I mostly use the television to play DVD's. Maybe TVLAND will pick up these shows, like they did Hot in Cleveland. They know a good thing when they see it!!!

This show is great, you put it on during all the season finales, and I still found it and watched every show. Just because it doesn't have Gordon Ramsey you cancel it. Bad decision! It was way better than Gang Related, as well as being more realistic. Please bring it back, or sell it to one of the cable networks, it's waaaay better than playing house.

PUT THIS SHOW BACK ON! it was an awesome show!!! and iv watched svu for years! it was nice to see him show a funny side! how could you take such a good show off!!! very disappointing.. and everyone here can agree as well!!! you would make the people here very happy!!! this show was great. better than alot of crap on tv these days! put it back on!!! or you suck fox!!!

I found this show, loved it!!! Played one episode for my kids (30ish) they loved it. Fox - you can only have so many reality shows. Most of the rs suck - this one was a real winner!

My family is so bummed Fox cancelled Surviving Jack. It was hilarious and our teenage boys actually sat down and watched it with their parents!
