The new comedy will not return.

ABC has cancelled freshman series Super Fun Night after one season. The Rebel Wilson comedy aired a shortened 17-episode season between October and February, but failed to retain a good portion of its lead-in audience from Modern Family on Wednesday nights.

Terrible, I think Mike and Molly should be cancelled too!

I liked that the romance between Richard and Kimmy was developing because he was falling in love with who she was, not this stupid realization that fat girls are people, too, which happens so often in comedies. I was seriously disappointed that they had Marika go full-on into the lesbian thing in the finale. For comedic purposes, it is so much funnier that everyone else thinks she's gay except her. Think Tobias Funke in Arrested Development.

I really enjoyed this show. It was refreshing (and empowering) to see a plus sized woman in a leading role for a change, rather than being the awkward best friend or nosey neighbor. Rebel Wilson's character was funny, smart, successful, and just quirky enough not to be annoying. I didn't find it odd at all that two men would fight over her. They obviously were evolved enough not to be wrapped up in outward appearances, but could really see the beautiful woman Kimmie was on the inside. And to be honest, Rebel Wilson is quite attractive. Period. I belive that if more people could look past a person's exterior and get to know them for who they really are, they would come to realize that beauty is only skin deep, where as ugly goes straight to the bone.

I really liked this show. I laughed every time. The three main actresses were really talented, and it was refreshing to see a fat woman in a leading role. I mean, if someone can watch five seasons of Zooey Deschanel cock her head to the side and make a dopey face with her doe eyes, why can't they watch an actual funny comedic actress succeed. I hope to see Rebel in another show really soon. She's awesome.
