Yahoo Screen will air new episodes of the cult comedy.
June 30, 2014
It was announced today that Community has been un-cancelled by Sony Pictures Television for a sixth season to be released on Yahoo Screen. The Dan Harmon comedy was cancelled by NBC back in May after five seasons on the peacock network.
Community's online return is being pegged for this fall, with 13 new episodes on order. Harmon, along with the show's main cast, will be returning for the new season.

@John Everything you said about community colleges was the exact opposite of the truth. Most community colleges in the U.S. are 2-year schools. In fact, in addition to "junior college" and "city college" another name for them is actually "2-year college". Typical CC students don't attend for more than that. It's like you never actually bothered to look it up. How embarrassing for you.

@bub and Brian
Community colleges are not 2 year only establishments - Typical CC students attend for more than that. And only one person of the group actually got a job working for Greendale, the rest re-enrolled. It's like you've never actually bothered to watch it.

@Brian, they all got jobs at the school for season 5.... that's right.. they spent 4 years in a 2 years school.. then got jobs there. It's ludicrous. The first 2 seasons were funny and original. Things started fading at season 3... I still caught an episode every now and then (just to watch Brie and Jacobs) and boy, were the episodes just dumb. Insultingly dumb.

I watched the first 2 seasons and then stopped. but how did they explain the same people going to a 2-year school for 5 years? did they all get jobs there after season 2 or what?

Yea mike. Know your stuff before you try to troll. I don't believe you are the same mike that normally posts here, based on your comments, you are just a troll.
Community is a smart and clever show. Fans love it. You can't call it garbage cause of nbcs poor quality lately. The amount of garbage picked up instead is pure trash. This is the Internet. For every one positive comment you will have 2 negative. And 4 trolls looking for attention.

Netflix didn't want it because it didn't come with rights to the other previous seasons.
Get your facts sorted before you post crap you know nothing about.

lol the struggles this show has gone through have been so hilarious, with fans being so incredibly desperate to have their dream.. "Yes please compromise as much of the show's remaining quality as possible!! All that really matters is that our stupid made-up hashtag joke comes true!!" the facts speak for themselves: it's so bad that Netflix didn't even want it.
one good thing is now the fans have absolutely NO right to complain about the quality of the show from now on because they literally BEGGED for it to go on at any cost.
