The comedy will be coming back to Netflix.
August 7, 2014
It looks as though Netflix is not finished with Arrested Development quite yet. Star Will Arnett confirmed on The Tonight Show this evening that the comedy will be returning for a fifth season.
This echos a statement made by Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, who hinted to USA Today earlier this week that it was not a matter of 'if', but a matter of 'when' Arrested Development would return. A time frame for Season 5, however, has not been established at this point.

I just hope the fifth season will not be like the last one. The fact that they split the cast up and made individual character episodes really messed with the formula of the show. It works better as an ensemble.

@Fred de Vries.
Agreed. I cannot stand Jeffrey Tambor in most roles..
But there is a big excepting with him on the Larry Sanders Show, He was great as 'Hey Now' Hank... A show, that was over, way too soon.

I loved all 4 seasons. The 4th started off a little slow, but once it all came together it was genius.

I loved the first 3 seasons. Honestly, The last season on Netflix was absolutely unwatchable!

Guess I had better catch up. On the wholes series.
Even though i watch a lot on Netflix, I don't think I have watched a whole episode of any of their original content (or stuff they produced).
