Showtime announced today that Masters of Sex has been renewed for a third season. The cable network has ordered 12 new episodes of the sophomore drama for a likely return in summer 2015.

The Emmy-nominated series is currently at the midway point of Season 2, with six episodes remaining before its season finale on September 28.
