The new spin-off gets a Season 2 pickup.
September 8, 2014
ABC has renewed Bachelor in Paradise for a second season ahead of tonight's season finale. The reality series is the second spin-off from the Bachelor franchise, featuring contestants from both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette looking for love on a tropical island. The previous spin-off was Bachelor Pad, which featured a similar premise and ran for three seasons before being cancelled.
Bachelor in Paradise is capping a successful six-week debut season, ranking as the #1 new summer series in the adults 18-49 demographic. Look for Season 2 to return next summer.

This show mega sucks, ABC is All Blatant Crap, they suck to the mega extreme, i can't think of one good show they've ever had, complete moronic crap and this show is pure crap. If they'd pick up gang related i'd think they're insightful visionaries but thet'd never do anything like that, they're the king of brain dead moron shows, maybe modern family is ok but that's it, it's not even great but ok.

Really ABC brings back this show if you can call it that but cancels Missing! Hate others people so called reality drama. Would rather watch a great actor and actress then these nobody's making fools of themselves.

Reality TV shows serve a purpose in my opinion! Keeps the dumbest people indoors so it's safer outdoors for the rest of us!

Bring on the haters, but I loved watching this disaster of a show unfold. It's way better than having one bachelor or bachelorette.

Of course they do. It's inexpensive to make because they don't have to pay actors or as many writers and this society has become addicted to watching fake drama. Another sad day for the anyone who loves quality TV. This is why all great shows get cancelled... to make place for stuff like the Bachelor family.
