The reality spin-off will be back again this summer.

ABC announced today that Bachelor in Paradise has been renewed for an eighth season. The reality series returned to the air last summer after taking a year off due to the coronavirus pandemic. Today's pickup isn't a huge surprise, as last month creator Mike Fleiss responded on social media to a cancellation rumor in a since-deleted Tweet, stating "Canceled??? No f***ing way!!! #BachelorInParadise forever!"
The spin-off series, which features contestants from previous seasons of 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette' searching for love in a tropical resort, remains a solid summer entry for the network. The continued success of the 'Bachelor' franchise, which began 20 years ago, has resulted in a number of offshoots. 2010's 'Bachelor Pad' was the first entry to air in the summer months, lasting three seasons before being replaced by Bachelor in Paradise in 2014.
