The crime drama will not return for Season 4.
November 13, 2014
It is being reported that TNT has cancelled Perception after three seasons. The Eric McCormack procedural is the second show the network has axed this week - Franklin & Bash was cancelled on Tuesday.
Though ratings were slightly down in Season 3 compared to Season 2, reasons for Perception's cancellation are unclear. The move could be in part related to TNT's recently-stated desire to transition to edgier programming under new president Kevin Reilly.
Look for the remaining episodes in Perception's third season to air in February 2015.

No, they cant do that. Its one of the few good shows on television. Im so disappointwd with this network. First Psych (although it ended in good terms but still.) Then White Collar and now this show. This new president Kevin Reilly needs has no interest in what the people like.

Perception was so good and I never missed an episode. I am sorry to see it go. I watch Major Crimes and Rizolli and Isles also. Greatly enjoy all of them. Good acting. All the stations want to show the same thing and at this time they are all mostly dumb. I hate the reality stuff except for DANCING WITH THE STARS, which I do not consider to be one.

Please! I hate, hate, hate reality shows. I live reality and when I want to be entertained, I want something interesting and not dancing, yelling, singing or criticism.
Perception gave that to me.

Can't believe two more of my favorite shows gone. Maybe the network needs to cancel the pres' contract. White Collar and Perception were really good shows. Hoping Rizolli and Major Crimes are safe.

I doubt TNT can go head-to-head with FX, and they really shouldn't. They've done very well filling the slot of serious but lighter version. Too bad.

TNT, you're idiots. Edgier shows! Perception was really good and not your typical cop show It wasnt corny like the one Jeff Goldblum did (the one he talked to an invisible person). It was good with good acting. Franklin and Bash was good but got kind of off the wall this season. I still like the actors and with better writing it could have lasted. Perception should be a major network show.

I am sad to see this end, it was a good show that brought real issue to life that brought people aware that people are different. We are finally starting to see true shows instead of reality shows and now they are being taken away. SAD!!!

At least it looks like they will resolve the cliffhanger.

REALLY!! I love this show. Never miss an episode. Why not cancel some of the pointless reality shows. Better yet cancel a bunch of them.
This is one of the shows I really enjoyed especially the neuroscience aspect of criminology.
