I am not sure how people can say there is only so much you can do with a show like continuum. There are unlimited possibilities with this show. Especially because of time travel. To say there is only so much to me just means that people do not think outside the box. They could show a new future or show more of the future with Kiera because the future parts were awesome to see what the future technology could be. And those that say this is just a show. Star trek was just a show and now holograms are real. Lots of other things that were brought up in the show is now a reality. So shows that have such great creators should at least do a full season to complete this.6 is not a lot. And I do think this was a big mistake to cancel and not keep going longer. But it seems tv shows are not like they used to be they are cancelled even with a lot of viewers.

Sure, the show kind of lost its way this last season, but the characters are still engaging and you still care about what happens to them. A six-episode final season hardly seems enough, but will force the producers to stick to the main storyline and not go off on so many re-sets and tangents.

I agree this show was past its prime. It started out asking some very interesting questions about time-travel, but with all the "resets" even the characters said nothing mattered any more.

I was sure that this would end like the glades or the river, with no ending at all. or alphas. which also ended with everyone dying. which is not what they intended. so at least we get a ending. just like wharehouse 13. a short run.

Decent of them to actually end the story. It was getting a bit stale and far-fetched in season 3. They lost the original concept entirely. So, it's probably best they end it while they can and keep it as a good show rather than a drawn out, rambling, time-slot filling, waste like most shows go into.

6 episodes? How stupid. Just green light a full final season. This is a great show and deserves that much. What the heck is the matter with the wonks who run networks.

I love it when shows know they are getting a final season so they can write an ending. I'd rather have a 4th and final season than to go several more seasons but be canceled after a cliffhanger.

Well, finally they opted for a 1/2 final season... like they did with Warehouse 13!!
with Warehouse 13, of the last six episodes, one was OK, two were very good, two were excellent (and both light hearted and silly) and the final was very well done to wrap up the series.
The partial series was a nice sendoff but a full season would have been better. Still Glad they did it.
I do believe they can end the series with 6 and 3.5 seasons is just enough for syndication.

So disappointed! I really loved this show. I'm glad we at least get a final season though, a chance to close things up as best they can in 6 episodes...I'll miss this show.

Glad they aren't dragging it out. The longer it goes, the more ridiculous the plots tend to be for most cases.
