No Season 2 for the new drama.
April 18, 2015
News is out tonight that MTV has cancelled Eye Candy after its first season. Show star Victoria Justice announced the cancellation to fans via Twitter earlier this evening, confirming that the freshman drama will not be returning for a second season.
The series struggled to find viewers during its 10-episode run earlier this year, averaging a lowly 0.2 rating among adults 18-49.

MTV cancelling a show after just one season? That's not like them at all.
Pretty sure the "M" stands for "Model-of-a-major-network-capable-of-selecting-quality-and-sustainable-programming-worth-investing-in-for-the-long-term."

What happened to the "M" in MTV? The music is in it's name. How is MTV still making money to be around.

@Betty - thanks!! I might just go ahead and see if I can power through the rest then I watched only the first few episodes so getting some satisfaction in an ending is always a good thing, but if it was a major cliff hanger I would rather have just avoided any more. Thanks again!!!

I'm mad about the outcome of the show, but am not because surprised, they pretty much ended the show and the story line was average at best. This show should have a second just to find her sister and be done with it.

It wasn't very good at all. I keep trying these new shows that MTV puts out but they disappoint. Looking forward to the SCREAM series when they start it up though! But it'll prob suck too lol!

@Aly There was a Cliffanger, but not a huge one in my opinion. The main plot was solved, so yes, there was some satisfaction at least.

This was a horrible show.... The ONLY reason I suspect viewers even tried it was to see Victoria Justice.
