The veteran drama will return with new showrunners.
May 8, 2015
It is being reported that Fox has renewed Bones for an eleventh season. The veteran drama, which recently surpassed the 200-episode milestone, has been a reliable performer for the network despite a recent dip in the ratings that is typical for shows on the air this long.
Current showrunner Stephen Nathan will be stepping down at the end of this season, with executive producers John Collier and Michael Peterson taking the helm going forward.

I'm pretty much done with this show after this season. There's no more stories to tell with the characters and to be honest the episodes have been getting boring since last season. Fox should have ended this show and kept Backstrom, but that's just my opinion.

I've loved this showed since the beginning, but I feel like they need to wrap it up. Hopefully they make next season the last...it's just time.

A show that jumped the shark in admirable fashion (remember the lab tech who turned out to be a serial killer), it managed to remain steady up until the last couple of seasons when it's become lot less interesting.
Maybe bring Stephen Fry in a full time character will kick it up the backside

Good thing! this is one of the shows that has its own set of fanbase but thank god that go8d tv shows like this can get renewed.

Well, I sure hope it's better next year than this year! Sounds like Angela and Bug Boy are leaving the show and moving to Paris. And Brennen having another kid?

Also, the dip in the ratings is more likely because of the hide and go seek that viewers usually have to deal with to watch. With the x factor gone and American idol being downgraded, this was the first year they didn't keep putting it on hiatus and moving around the night it was on. I usually had other things I was already invested in watching when they kept moving it.

I'm not surprised that fox renewed it but I am surprised the actors were still interested after 10 years. Hopefully the actors got a great payout to stay, fox isn't doing well with it's other scripted shows. Gotham brings in a premium in younger viewers but other than that the show is not doing well. I hope they keep the storylines interesting next season.
