Fox has cancelled Backstrom after one season. The freshman crime dramedy was Rainn Wilson's first prime time starring role since his eight year stint on The Office. The midseason series started with decent ratings but lost a lot of its audience as the weeks went on, concluding at a series low on April 30.

Of course. This was one of my favorite weekly shows. Cant say that Im surprised that it got cancelled though. Come on TNT pick this up!

Backstrom is one of the best shows--why do they cancel the good ones. Bones is not worth saving but Backstrom is very good. Loved his character!!! rECONSIDER this stupid decision!!

They put Backstrom in a bad spot and blame the show for not creating a big following while they have moved Bones to every spot of the week to help it.
Fox is in love with cheap Game and Reality Shows that don't cost anything to produce. Maybe they should just stick to News with Great Looking Blondes.

I can't believe this show is cancelled. Finally, a show with interesting characters and they cancel it. My family and I think it is the best new show this season.

What are you doing? Are you kidding. Love this show. Got Hulu because I couldn't catch it when it was on. And speaking of Hulu maybe they or Netflix will pick it up.

Bring Back Backstrom! It's a great show and is so much better than the variety shows that persist year after year. Better start choosing quality programs over junk or you will lose all your viewers to other networks. Matt M.
