The new comedy will return for Season 2.

CBS has renewed The Odd Couple for a second season. The midseason comedy, which is the latest screen production of the original 1965 play, has been a solid new entry for the network, faring well in its Thursday night time slot.

I liked Matthew Perry's "Mr. Sunshine" and especially "Go On" much better, yet this is the one that gets a second season...

Deleted this from the dvr list last week. I tried to hang in there hoping it would get better. Perry is just too painful to watch. Thought he was great in Go On. Not sure what happened to him here.

What an original idea for a show! Very refreshing and something that's never been done before!

Great news. This show cracks me up. Especially the actor who plays Felix...he is unbelievably funny!!!

Not sure why. Perry's acting is incredibly bad in this and it's just NOT funny. If they just followed the original scripts it might be funny... but as it stands, it's pretty crappy.

Why was this even on in the first place. I hate remakes/ reboots. Never watched this. Will not watch ABC's Uncle Buck or Fox's Minority Report. Networks be original. Please.

I just don't get it. I gave this show a chance and watched the first 5 eps. It was so bad. The jokes are stuff that are just getting reused from other comedies. There is nothing original about this show. The jokes aren't smart or even funny, they are just childish. I am very surprised that this show got a second season.

This has been a funny show, I've enjoyed it. Before it came on I saw tons of really moronic ads and I had practically vowed I would never watch the show. I gave the show a chance (well, I didn't get up and leave when I wasn't given control of the remote. Same thing, right?) and I'm glad I did. It's been plenty entertaining.
