Adult Swim announced today that Childrens Hospital has been renewed for a seventh season. The critically acclaimed comedy, which concludes its sixth season on June 19, will return with new episodes in 2016.

I stopped watching this season. Everything seemed flat and they tried too hard on some jokes and made silly stories over trying to make it basic. They even went from saying the hospital was named after Childrens to being a childrens only hospital. It just lost the simplicity it used to have.

Season 6 seemed.... well.. just different in some way. Not quite as devoted to the odd characters as it was to just odd stories (and guest stars). I'll still stick with it, but to date seasons 6 was my least favorite.

This would make a great 30min show! 10 mins an episode is just not enough for me!
