The animated series scores another early pickup.
July 26, 2024
Amazon announced today at San Diego Comic-Con that Invincible has been picked up for a fourth season. The renewal is an early one, coming less than four months after its sophomore finale. The animated drama received a 2-year pickup not long after its debut. Prime Video has yet to set a premiere date for Season 3.
Based on the comic book from Robert Kirkman, Invincible follows 17-year-old Mark Grayson, who is pretty much like most guys his age with one exception - his father is Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on Earth. With Mark now developing his own powers, he starts realizing that his dad's legacy may not be as heroic as he thought.

This was mildly interesting when it started.. then it slowly devolved into a family soap opera... by season 3 it's entirely uninteresting and may as well air on the Lifetime or Hallmark channel. Can't imagine the mindset of anyone who thinks this deserves another season.
