You at least owe your faithful viewers of three seasons a last episode finale.

"game" ??? what, they complaints are about a tv show not a game. Yes some tv watchers play games but there is no requirement to play games if you want tv shows. If they made a game that is a completely separate item and issue and should not make or sink the show.
That being said I felt the show slowly got worse with time so I'm OK with its end. They provided reasonable closure to the storyline and apparently the writers just weren't feeling it.

Defiance was a fun creative show with so much potential. I hope Netflix picks it up

Maybe we should ask everyone crying that the show is cancelled how many played the computer game??? SyFy had a MMORPG tied into this series and that added to the cost of the show. Money wise this show was probably a lot more expensive because of the game. If the game is not pulling in the dollars, but they are still supporting it for the money it does bring in, something had to change.
I for one was disappointed in the first season, they advertised about how there was going to be all of these alien races, some even mechanical, and we really did not see many.
The following seasons saw more, but then the storyline started falling apart.
I hate it that EVERYONE see the bad guys on the show, played PERFECTLY by Tony Curran and Jaime Murphy, (note I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jaime) but still with what happened in the final season and they were still alive??? Really?
Hint when the show starts killing off characters that mean something, Look for a series coming to a close... They killed off a lot of people, probably to save money. The part played by Greene, his daughter, the son? and so many others... That was the sign to look for that it was ending.
Some of the other shows people are complaining about being canceled were not even SyFy related cancellations. Continuum? Pretty sure that is made from another company and SyFy just brought the rights to show it. A few other shows as well, Lost Girl I think fits in here.
Watch my words, when you start seeing main or useful characters on Dark Matter and Killjoys, get ready to see it canceled.

Maybe we'll get lucky and Netflix will pick it up.

Don't expect the syfy channel to hold on to any shows. If you start watching a series on the syfy channel do it with the expectation that it will be cancelled in the very near future. I think that it would be better for networks to start running shows with a limited time series like Wayword Pines, beginning middle and end. Even if there is a possibility for a second season run it with a single season story line.

What a bummer I've watched Defiance from the very first episode, I am going to miss the show, Please Renew it and Dominion. SYFY.

SyFy Is tun by a Bunch Of morons, They all SHould Be Fired, They have cancelled the Best Show They Ever had (Next To) Farscape/Firefly. But hey We all Know they are just doing each other in the Butt
Im going to miss Defience. At least we have the dvd's
