Syfy announced today that Defiance has been renewed for a third season. The action drama has continued to perform well in its second season, ranking as one of cable's top prime time programs on Thursday nights with an average of 2.7 million total viewers (Live+7).
The network has ordered 13 episodes for Season 3 of Defiance, with an expected premiere in 2015.

lol. for all who havnt watched this show you should. as for season 3 cant wait. the game is now free on ps3 so you can compare story lines if you want (if you have a ps3) and jerry2286 lol soap opera ? if soap opera were like this my wife would never get anything done. soap operas are more like stage plays no depth just sets .

2015? This show needs to be on at least 2seasons a year! I want more of it... Great to hear Dominion was renewed also! Hoping they play them back to back again! 2 hours of great TV!
