The new show is axed after 3 episodes.
November 14, 2015
ABC has cancelled Wicked City after a slow start to its first season. The freshman drama struggled in the ratings from its debut, premiering weak in its Tuesday night time slot and losing a significant number of viewers with each of its following two episodes.
Wicked City has been pulled from the network's schedule effective immediately. The show exits with five already-produced episodes left unaired, and it is not clear if they will ever be released. Replacing the show in its Tuesday night time slot for now will be repeat episodes of Shark Tank.

At least show the episodes already complete.

I really wish the network execs would give new shows more of a chance. How can you pull the plug after just 3 episodes?! I often wonder what would have happened to shows like Seinfeld and Cheers, if they had tried to get a start in today's market. They both had very slow starts, but both became classics. Today, they both would've probably gotten the axe. C'mon ABC, and other networks too; get it together.

This show was addicting. It was an excellent show that had great potential. Many shows have a slow start and then pick up with viewer ratings as the weeks go by. It even takes a season. Of course, we all have our preference for shows, but it's nice to have a crime show that is dated in the 80's like this. It's different and could really have been expanded upon like Shay stated.
ABC needs to fire their advertising execs because there have been some great shows given the ax. That is a lot of money wasted on production due to failure on the advertising department.

Once again ABC cancels a show without giving it a chance. I really liked this show and looked forward to seeing how this played out. I'm very disappointed in this decision.

This show had such potential. They could have used a different cast/story each season. Also using a different time line and city, i.e. Las Vegas in the 90's or New York City in the 70's. I hope that, at the very least, Netflix will eventually have all 8 episodes.

This show seemed like a competitor for nbc's Aquarious which I myself stopped watching due to its repetitive writing. Still not sure how that got a second season.

People I know who watched it liked it.It can be no darker than Criminal Minds which is a very good show but not for everybody (I can't watch it). They didn't give it a chance.Didn't help that the critics bombed it before it was on.Sisto and the Farmiga girl aren't having much luck as they were on the American version of The Returned that got cancelled which ticked me off too.

My husband and I love this show. I told a few people at work about it and they liked it too. I wish ABC would give it a decent chance. I especially liked the 1980's theme.

I'm sure most people didn't have the stomach for this show, or couldn't admit they liked it, but my wife and I liked it and think it was very well done. We'd like to have seen how it played out. It's based on a true story, so I guess that scares many people!
