ABC has cancelled Wicked City after a slow start to its first season. The freshman drama struggled in the ratings from its debut, premiering weak in its Tuesday night time slot and losing a significant number of viewers with each of its following two episodes.
Wicked City has been pulled from the network's schedule effective immediately. The show exits with five already-produced episodes left unaired, and it is not clear if they will ever be released. Replacing the show in its Tuesday night time slot for now will be repeat episodes of Shark Tank.

Period shows rarely last very long.

Don't waste your time watching this. Instead go watch Dexter. I saw trailers for this and they looked boring. Which is ridiculous since trailers are made up of the best moments. Like a highlight reel, Even the robocop reboot had a trailer that I thought looked good. which if you haven't seen it just watch the trailer and save yourself the torture.

Having not watched this, it speaks volumes for the fact ABC would prefer to air repeats of a Friday slot show during sweeps vs. airing episodes of "Wicked" they already have in the can ...

@Tarawa
Actually, the record is held by a 1970's show called "Turn-on" starring Tim Conway. lasted one episode - kinda. it was so bad that many west coast stations refused to air it after seeing the reaction on the east coast.
So, short of shows that never get broadcast, "Turn-On" hold the record. ;)

The best part about this show was the soundtrack.

There's already way more than enough "solve the homicide" shows so no loss/

I thought this was a very good psychological thriller. Although I found it scary as to her attraction to him even though she found out what he was, I would have liked to see how it played out. The concept was interesting, and the psychology of the mind riveting. Sorry to see it cancelled. Would make a good movie.

I too was waiting to watch this. It's a shame it's already cancelled. The trailer looked really promising. Plus the casting was an interesting mix. Sad this was cancelled - I was looking forward to it.

I liked the show and it's silly they pulled it off air so quickly.
