Syfy announced this week that Ghost Hunters has been renewed for an 11th season. The long-running paranormal series continues to be a solid performer for the network after over a decade on the air.
13 new episodes have been ordered for Season 11, which sees Jason Hawes lead investigations at reportedly haunted locations including the Midwest Railway Preservation Society in Cleveland, the Old Lake County Jail in Crown Point, Indiana, and the Toledo Yacht Club in Ohio.
Look for Season 11 of Ghost Hunters in 2016.

You'd think that after 11 seasons they'd have found at least ONE.
Apparently there are more ghosts than executives with brains.

I love this show. Love seeing all the old places they check into. For me it's a mini history lesson as well as seeing what they might find (or not).

Unfortunately, when production costs for dreck like this averages around $50 per episode, the channels will happily renew them forever. This is the entertainment equivalence of eating cardboard for nutrition.

Hard to believe that this started way back in 2004 around the same time as Tripping the Rift. Sure , I watched the first 2 seasons but after that it really started to feel like the same thing over and over and now truly has lived past its prime.

Could someone please stop this fake madness! Bring back ANY one of the MANY examples of good shows that were cancelled prematurely to make room for this garbage.
