The drama ends after three seasons.
December 2, 2015
Cedar Cove will not be returning for Season 4. Hallmark Channel has confirmed that its first-ever prime time series has been cancelled after three seasons. The drama, which followed the life of a small-town judge, premiered in 2013 and quickly found a core audience of dedicated viewers.
Ratings did taper off slightly over the course of its run, though it is unclear if there were other factors in the decision not to bring the show back for a fourth season. The series finale aired in September.

Very disappointed with Hallmarks decision to cancel Cedar Cove. Love this show and Hallmark movies. Look forward to this show every summer and can't wait for the next episode.

I agree with most of the above comments. Very much enjoyed Cedar Cove, quite surprised there will be no more.

Shame on you Hallmark for cancelling a wonderful, clean show that had a wonderful cast. And again, leaving us hanging. What a way to treat devoted viewers of this channel. Time to find another station to watch if this is what we are to expect every time we get interested in a series. I am so disappointed that this show is gone--hope your ratings go down with it.

Very disappointed in Hallmark for canceling Cedar Cove and Signed, Sealed and Delivered. It's not often we can find shows that we look forward to seeing each week. Also, it would be a nice gesture on Hallmart if the would at least give us some closure on these series.

I just loved Cedar Cove and DVR'd it to watch over and over again until the next week's new episode. My husband even agreed that the show was a good solid one. Then all of a sudden the season finale comes and leaves us hanging on all the characters. If that was not enough we are then told that the Series is Cancelled and we will never know what happened to our favorite characters. Does not Hallmark care about it's viewers? Why do they just up and cancel without even last series 2 hr finale for viewer closure. And I do not even thing the actors knew this was coming! Then they try to soften the blow by saying that our favorite actors will appear in other Hallmark shows. Of course, they will as they are under contract and obligated to do so!
Just when I am swallowing the cancellation of Cedar Cove, the Bridge move on Hallmark comes on and at the very end of the show it says "to be continued Christmas 2016". Well isn't that a slap in the face too. Is this a wave of the future to try to keep viewers in place. I think the Hallmark Channel viewers are very loyal to watch that channel over and over again with the same Christmas movies shown except for new ones on weekends. I have started watching the Lifetime Channel as it finally got it's head out of it's ass and started airing movies like it used to do. Maybe it can give Hallmark Channel a run for it's money. Anyway, thank you for allowing our comments.

When are the executives going to get their heads out of the a---- and stop worrying about the almighty dollar. Consider your viewing audience for a change. When an excellent family friendly show comes to television,Cedar Cove and Longmire, then damn executives decide to cancel. Another station might pick them up, Netflix, and the viewers are screwed and need to pay more money for an additional channel. Hallmark has been around for many many years and I have enjoyed every program. But now I an seriously considering cancelling my channel subscription. The public is soooo tired of viewing sex, crime and gore on television

I agree that Cancelling Cedar Cove was a mistake..at least finish up the story lines.. I also agree with the Bridge Christmas show.. wonderful story etc but to be left hanging for a year.. who knows if we will even be here in a year..I want stories that end.
very disappointed in Hallmark

Three seasons invested only to be left hanging. It's like buying a book, reading half, only to find the remaining pages blank. The viewers are screwed over.
Then Hallmark airs a Christmas movie—The Bridge—that ends with everything hanging in the air with a note: "To Be Continued Christmas 2016." Once again the viewers are screwed over.
I'm done with network TV. I hope advertisers see their shrinking viewership. This has become a joke and a waste of time. I'm tired of investing hours only in programs only to be disappointed.
Can you imagine going to the movies and after an hour the movie simply ends midstream? Or how about going to a restaurant and after you've started eating, your server removes you plates before you've finished? It's silly to contemplate, but that's what Hallmark and other networks are doing. I saw we boycott the lot of them—see if they can survive without viewers and advertising revenue.
Going forward, I'll wait for programs to air on Amazon, Hulu, or Netflix. I'll check to see if the program was cancelled before watching. Network television is shooting itself in the foot. In time viewers will all abandon them—they can't be trusted. :(

Way to go Hallmark.....you play Christmas movies for two months straight with constant repeats so I have to go to other networks to watch something different...then you go and cancel a fresh, wholesome solid show with a fantastic cast. NOT a smart move....who are you polling for your ratings....elves?
