These type of shows are best when they don't go into the personal touch. A little bit of telling who they are associated with but when they get personal they slowly loose viewers. A lot of shows folded because of that. I really like this show and I hope it goes back to the original format. Rusty is ok, and the rest but they should only be a background not into the story line. I hope they don't cancel it because of it.

The show is pretty good, but I agree with Mike C, they need to de-rustify the story. I see no value in the snot-nosed kid hanging out in the squad/crime room. The show was fine minus the token gay character, did they need one that badly? Not anti-gay, just anti-rusty.

I really liked this show the first couple of seasons when it got it's cue from The Closer. That's what the show was supposed to be. A continuation of the original series with the most of the main supporting cast minus Kyra Segewick. Then the writers decided they could improve the show by taking it in a more personal direction and we now have a police soap opera called "The Rusty Show". Total garbage.

Absolutely love this show.. Loved the closer too. So glad it was renewed...

I liked The Closer better, too, but my teen-age daughter enjoy this. The Sharon character with her pensive glances, etc, will always bug me a bit (she's no Brenda), but it'll do.

Please tell me they are not going to cancel this show also. I'm tired of TNT and their need to be edgy. If they cancel this one I will never watch another TNT show ever.

I honestly cried out "seriously?!" when I saw this. It's a running joke in my house how much I dislike this show. My dad jokes about making me watch the show as punishment...well, at least I really hope he's joking :P

Way to go TNT -- you did something right. I adore this show. Have loved most of these characters since they were on The Closer.
