The new comedy is pulled from the schedule.
February 9, 2016
It is being reported that CBS has cancelled Angel From Hell after just five episodes. The freshman comedy, which starred Jane Lynch, drew modest ratings in its Thursday night time slot, but ultimately fell short of expectations.
Beginning February 18, new episodes of 2 Broke Girls will be taking over on Thursdays at 9:30pm. Until then, a repeat of The Big Bang Theory will air in its place this week.

I wanted to like this show, really did. Like the cast. Writing was uneven. Need to put in my real angel stuff if she was a real angel. Cast members -- you're all good -- I look forward to seeing in new shows!

Poor Maggie Lawson and Kyle Bornheimer...
Neither can get a break. This show tried a little too hard to be quirky - but I found it generally funny and loved the cast (though I certainly thought Jane could have been toned down a bit).
I'm going to bet if they had cast someone other than Jane Lynch the show would have survived. Jane was expensive and the ratings needed to be huge for the show to survive. Same with Maggies last endeavor with James Caan - too expensive for anything less than run-away ratings. Unfortunately both Maggie and Kyle now are probably being avoided as show jinxes - too bad because they are both very talented and fun to watch. Jane needs to find some new character to play - she's become a one-trick pony. Do something less snarky and more dramatic Jane!

CBS, shame shame shame on you. What in the world are you thinking? Are you trying to commit network suicide? How many good shows do you think you can cancel before you lose all viewers? If your viewers aren't happy cable and satellite companies are not going to renew contracts with you. Cancelled one of my very favorite comedies,Mike and Molly and new show Angel from Hell. I am livid. Wake up and listen to people before its too late.

I am so fed up with shows being cancelled mid season. Let your viewers vote. We pay a fortune to watch tv only to see re runs and a lot of stupid shows last far too long. I am seriously pissed about angel from hell being cancelled. The world of entertainment has been lost to greed. CBS bring back this show. It was refreshing and funny.

I really, really liked this show. I hate it's cancelled. Maybe Netflix or Hulu would pick this show up. :-(

I kept expecting Kevin Pollack to break into his Christopher Walken impersonation with " Why did I agree to do this show?"

Gemini said Lynch was trying to distance herself from her Sue Sylvester character. I certainly hoped so because Sue was a snarky jerk. Knew someone in the Navy who was like her character and believe me...nobody liked the woman. Happiest day of my life was when I got transferred to a different base on the coast of California.

Jane Lynch is just ridiculously stupid, the annoying previews with her are enough to keep you from watching. Good riddance!

Good 2 free up the space. That sucked from the beginning!
