The comedy continues its successful run.

ABC announced today that Modern Family has been renewed for an 8th season. The Emmy Award-winning comedy continues to be a top performer for the network with consistently strong ratings in the adults 18-49 demographic.
Modern Family joins four other ABC comedies that were renewed today for the 2016-2017 season. Fresh Off the Boat, The Goldbergs, The Middle, and Black-ish will all be returning in the fall.

Show need to go away. I agree with tom. Ed needs to go back to sale shoes and sitting on the couch. Julie still the hottest actress on the show. I wish her the best

As much as I liked the show in the past, it is time for it to wind down. Two of the kids are college age but are still at home all the time. Lilly is 8 and they are treating her like a 5 year old, letting her get away with stuff, making her a side character in the lives of her parents. They want to keep the original idea but realize that real life actors grow up. They won't however let the growing up change the show.
