The comedy will return for the 2016-17 season.
March 24, 2016
Fox announced today that Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been renewed for a fourth season. The award-winning comedy, which stars SNL alum Andy Samberg, has been a decent performer for the network in its Tuesday night time slot.
Along with Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the network also handed out an early renewal today to The Last Man on Earth. Other Fox comedies still awaiting news include New Girl, The Grinder, Grandfathered, and Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life.

I was a big fan.
Initially when Andy Samberg was the hyperactive center of attention, it was fine. But lately almost every character has been racing at breakneck speed, shooting their lines machine gun style, and not in a good way.
The humour seems forced and contrived. Only Scully and Hitchcock are the same funny bunnies.

Count me among the fans, and I agree, if you liked Scruns or Community (or News Radio! Sigh.), you'll like this. Love the whole cast, including (especially?) Andy Samburg.

AHHHHHH!!!!! I was worried that they were gonna cancel this show because its really went down in the ratings since they freakin moved to Tuesday (horrible choice since people watch The voice and other crap I forgot what they were, not saying the voice is crap just the other shows that i can't name cause I forgot disclosing Supergirl,The Flash,Jane the Virgin etc.) Them moving it was a bad choice and since they moved The Lastan on Earth I hope they move this show back to its original time slot at 8;30 after the Simpsons). Glad it's coming back and hope it gets better in season four and the ratings go up if they move it back to Sunday!!!!

Malvaudo: You must be one of those Hollywood execs I mentioned in my previous post. 48 hours or Beverly Hills cop was good for one movie. Second one you could barely stand. This show is the extended play of those movies, just not too much bang-bang and leading actor who can not act.

John Smith that is the thing about opinions everyone is allowed to have them. You saying if someone thinks Samberg is funny they don't know what they are talking about.... They do know what they are talking about it just doesn't make sense to you because you don't agree with their opinion. I think the show is pretty funny and mindless. There are things far worse than this that have been on TV for years... I'm glad something like this even has a chance to be on air past 1 season.

Great show! Glad for the renewal. The last episode "Terry Kittles" was amazing! I love the chemistry between Charles and Gina! Sgt. Holt (Andre Braugher) is hilarious! What's not to love about this show?

By far the best comedy series on tv.
If you liked 'the office' or 'scrubs' then i highly suggest you check this out.
Screw the haters. This show is Awesome.
I am still not sure why everyone hates Andy Samberg. I had never heard of him until i watched this show.
So maybe he was in other things that were not good but this show is great.
'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' and 'The Goldbergs' are my two favorite shows on network tv right now.
