It has been reported that Nickelodeon has renewed School of Rock for a second season. The pickup comes four episodes into the comedy's freshman run, which has so far averaged nearly 2 million weekly viewers.
Production on Season 2 is expected to start this month, with 13 episodes on order.

This is because people won't watch a show if it might get canned. These are the people who are afraid that if they watch a show and it gets cancelled something bad will happen to them. They also are the people who don't realize that nowadays early renewals me nothing (i.e. The Brink) and are just made to please the crybabies. Hey if you like a show watch it if not don't, then maybe networks won't renew this crap before it even airs and renewals will mean something again.

It has a lot of bad ratings (it has a 4,9 on IMDB),the reviews are bad and I couldn´t get through the first episode...what the hell is Nickelodeon doing! Just make sure that the reboot of Hey Arnold is Awesome :)
