ABC has cancelled new mystery drama The Family after one season. The series premiered in March as a mid-season entry but drew less-than-stellar ratings throughout the course of its 12-episode run.
With its focus on the mystery surrounding the return of a family's presumed-dead son, it's unclear if the story line will be fully resolved during the series finale this Sunday.

The Family is a really well written show. Please don't cancel. I look forward to it every week. There is enough drivel on TV why is ABC getting rid of it? Promote it better, get the word out. As for Galavant, one of the most enjoyable series on TV. ABC is making two huge mistakes here.

Dam, dam, dam I really like this show it was something to look forward to on Sunday evening. I think it needs to be given another year. Maybe the night on needs to be changed but please renew it!

ABC strikes again, I guess they will vane to go back and find another mindless cheap show to put on television.
Doesn't ABC own an cable networks they can pawn off shows like this instead of aggravating their viewers which they are so go at.

this really sucks,,soo tired of watching new shows an get interested in them and then they get cancelled just rediculis,,maybe i should just watch netflix and just forget regular tv altogether

Doomit! I can't believe they are cancelling this show. Usually its FOX shows that I'm more reluctant to watch but I didn't expect a big axe to come out from ABC. The Family & Galavant?! BOO URNS, ABC.
