The mystery drama will return in 2016-2017.
May 13, 2016
Fox announced today that Sleepy Hollow has been renewed for a fourth season. The good news comes on the heels of last month's finale that saw a prominent character killed off, leaving many to speculate if the show would return.
The veteran drama will be back for the 2016-2017 season despite being the network's currently-lowest-rated drama.

I'm sad to see her character killed off! I really like this show. It's much better than other similar styled shows. If it is some exec's guilty pleasure and that is why it is still running, then I'm happy it is!

I am suprised as well... but hopeful. I like the concept of SH, if not so much the application. What worries me is that they are going to find a look-a-like Witness who might as well be the original AND/OR they follow this whole X-File-Government-is-out-to-get-you bullcrap that seems to be the theme in primetime these days. Im still gonna watch... and hope...

Surely they are only renewing this because they are canceling all the new prospects they tried this year. They can't be renewing this show on its own merits.... it's cliche and just moronic most of the time.

This surprises me also. This was a show that lost steam fast.

Here's hoping Season 4 goes back to the Christianity undercurrents present in Season 1 and 2.

This baffles me. I loved the first season. The second blew chunks and the third was better but still tedious with too many new cast members added. I assumed this was a surefire cancel after Nicole Beharie left. Must be some exec's guilty pleasure.
