No Season 4 for the Friday night comedy.
May 13, 2016
NBC has cancelled Undateable after three seasons. The comedy was a modest performer for the network over the course of its run.
After a late-Season 2 live episode was met with a warm reception, the decision was made to switch to an all-live format for the duration of Season 3 - a rarity for broadcast scripted comedy. But the format change didn't do much to offset a move to Friday nights, which unfortunately didn't do much help its fortunes, leaving the show struggling to find an audience.

"Undateable" was such a great show and I like that they were adventurous when they did all of the episodes live. It was looking to become the new "Cheers". So sad to see it go.

Damn! This was one of my partner and I's favorite shows! I thought it got better with the 'live' concept. The series definitely had life left in it. I don't see how shows like 2 broke girls and 2 and a half men run for many seasons when they use such lame jokes and are nowhere near funny, where a show like Undateable tries something different, it gets canned. I doubt the cast from many shows would be able to do a 'live' show like the cast of Undateable did. We would be genuinely be laughing out loud while watching the series, and thought it was very well done. The musical guest was a bit hit and miss, but hey they were trying something different. The in-jokes were well done I thought. While I didn't get all of them, I enjoyed the quickness of the cast members throwing them out there. A show, that hopefully will get picked up by someone else.

This was one of my favorite shows. Bridgit made it a lot better and I'm upset it got canceled it was really funny because of the cast.

Wasn't "undateable" a single throw-away joke in a Seinfeld episode 20 years ago? Did the actually try to build a show around this? Surprised it lasted more than a couple episodes....

"Live" aspect killed it... they cast was CLEARLY bored by the "live" aspect half way through the season. Very apparent when watching both east and west coast feeds.. west coast was ALWAYS worse .... wasting 5+ minutes in a 20 minutes sitcom for a "musical guest" was just moronic.... Whitney Cummings offered NOTHING new to the show and should never have been added to the cast.... only funny bits were the off-script improvs and those started becoming "inside jokes" for the cast, ostracizing the audience. The scripts themselves weren't funny in the slightest.... in short... The writers and cast killed this show after 3 episodes of the "live" season. It just took a while to actually die.

NBC is DEAD to me now. Come on Netflix or Hulu. Pick this show up.

The Whitney Cummings curse strikes again!

Really? Really? I thought the show was picking up stream. I really enjoyed the characters, and the live, social media connection, that this show offered viewers. It was very innovative.
