Freeform announced today that Baby Daddy has been renewed for a sixth season. The veteran comedy remains a top performer for the network, holding its ranking as cable television's #1 series in its time slot among key demographics.
Today's renewal is the first for the show under the network's new Freeform moniker and will take the series past the 100 episode mark. The second half of Season 5 premiered earlier this month.
No time frame has been announced as of yet for the show's return.

For those of you NOT paying attention to the show timeline, well it's not 5 actual years. This is why Emma is still only a baby. For the most part season to season it picks up pretty close in the timeline to where the previous season left off making the timeline of the show very short (weeks or months NOT years) between seasons. A new season of any shoe does not always mean the shows timeline is a year as well.
And that is my television timeline education for you all. Just use common sense and pay attention to the show.

This show just goes in circles, no character development and a baby that does not age, even after 5 seasons.

The thing that gets me is that 6 years in, the baby is still only 1 year old. The baby is only a prop on the show. They often have to detour from whatever zany antics the cast is up to, just to put the kid on camera for a few seconds per episode.
