The comedy will not return for Season 7.
May 13, 2017
It is being reported that after six seasons and exactly 100 episodes, Freeform has cancelled Baby Daddy. The news comes just two weeks ahead of the comedy's current season ender, which will now act as its series finale. The move may not have been completely unexpected, as word is the May 22 episode was written in a way that could conclude either the season or the entire series.
The veteran comedy was a top performer for the network over the course of its run, ranking as cable television's #1 series in its time slot among key demographics. The show also recently took home a People's Choice Award for favorite cable TV comedy.

Oh' man !
It was such a great show, can't believe they cancelled it. No more new television for me. Time to start watching old syndicated shows via streaming.

Liked the series in spite of finding Melissa Peterson exceptionally grating and Derek Theler a less-than-stellar actor. Really this was the only sitcom Freeform had I'd watch.

Darn, really enjoy this series. Surprised to hear it is ending after them always talking about how it was a high performer for the channel...seems like they have been cancelling most of their series these days. Happy to hear it will at least have closure and not end on a cliffhanger

Cody, just because they wrote a "just in case" season/series finale, doesn't mean it wasn't canceled. There are shows that make an actual series finale because they know that season is going to be the last one. It doesn't sound like that was the case with this one. Sounds like they got the news after the season started, that they might not get picked up again so they wrote an episode that quickly tied up all the loose ends just in case..

I like the show...it was much better than Young & Hungry. I have to admit Ben started to act more like a dimwit the last two seasons while Emma became the brains of the group.
