It was announced today that Comedy Bang! Bang! will not be returning for a sixth season. The veteran mock talk show will end its run on IFC later this year, with its series finale scheduled to air on December 10.
Creator and host Scott Aukerman broke the news earlier today on Twitter, letting fans know that the writers had enough advanced notice to put together something that is "truly special and fans will love."
Season 5 of Comedy Bang! Bang! has 10 episodes remaining before it signs off for good. The show returns for its final stretch on Friday, October 28 with back-to-back episodes starting at 11:00pm.

@sally ironically you are here so butthurt about Ryan and Lixter comments but you are the one with your nose so far up pope's ass and the guy doesn't even showed up anymore.
Anyway for someone that really appreciates and has the basic brain functions and capacity to understand and catch on the subtle jokes and wittiness and doesn't consider youtube pranks channels as comedy this show was really good. it had a nice run and hey! there are still 10 more episodes left before it finale. later haters.

The commercials for this show made it look unwatchable. I couldn't imagine the poor saps who sat through five seasons of it.

@Pope, you're wrong, and you sound like a turd. How do you know it was so horrid each season? Were you watching along with us? If so, thanks for the views turd, if not, then don't make assumptions on something you have seen very little of turd. The show blossomed into something awesome, and tv has and never will see the likes of it again. Also we all know you are not the real Pope.

@lixter.. 6 seasons or not.. this show was just horrid. There ARE bad comedians making money.. just look at Michael Ian Black's career... a wasteland of crapola.. much like Comedy Bang Bang.

@pope if a show now a days last more than 2 seasons it's because it is or was somehow good. this show wasn't for everybody and even so it maintained afloat for 6 seasons because it was indeed quite good. and just because you don't like something that should be the norm for everybody i'm pretty sure most of the thing you consider "amazing" are just a piece of garbage for most of us. it's all relative. good day!

Sorry.. never found this to be anything remotely resembling "amazing". Good riddance... now kill off Documentary Now IFC.

Wow this is shitty, I hope they find a new home hopefully at Netflix. Such an underrated show.
