The acclaimed drama will conclude in 2017.

Netflix announced today that Bloodline is coming to an end after its upcoming third season in 2017. The critically-acclaimed drama was renewed for Season 3 back in July, though no mention was made at the time regarding its future - or lack thereof.
There had been some uncertainty about the show's longevity earlier this year when reports surfaced that the state of Florida, which is where the series shoots, cut its entertainment tax incentives program. With the location playing such an important role in the makeup of the show, moving it elsewhere would be out of the question, meaning production costs on future seasons would rise significantly.
Bloodline has been another strong entry in the streaming service's growing list of original series. Its captivating story line and gripping pacing hooked both viewers and critics alike, with strong performances by its impressive cast resulting in multiple Emmy nominations.
Look for the third and final season of Bloodline to release in May 2017.

Good show, love this cast especially Kyle Chandler. I'm going to miss this, watching season 3 right now and hoping it wraps up nicely.

Love the show and I don't have a problem with it ending after season three. Too many shows are left on for too long and they become stale.

The first season was great, mostly due to the chemistry between John and a Danny. The second season felt forced, and the attempt to keep Danny in the show after he was killed off was a desperation move. For me, it never made sense that John would run for office after he had been involved in the murder of his brother. Who, in their right mind, would subject himself or herself to the scrutiny of the public eye with THAT skeleton in the closet??? It felt forced. Cudos to whoever found the actor to play Danny's son, however; that kid has star written all over him.

Really love this show, but it wouldn't make sense to keep it going for more than 3 (max 4) seasons. At the end of Season 1 I was already wondering how they were going to keep it going. They did a pretty good job at doing that in Season 2, but it wasn't as good as Season 1. Looking forward to seeing how this story ends!

Great show. Would've liked to have seen at least season four. Neflix is finally showing signs of going downhill. To accommodate their originals their cutting on what they offer in movies and tv shows. I can't remember the last time I saw a good movie selection on netflix, I keep it for the tv shows, so here's to hoping they keep enough for me to justify a subscription.

I love this show, but I can't see it go on for more than 3 or 4 seasons. Danny was killed off way too soon in my opinion, but whatever.
