The Amazon drama will end after Season 2.
September 15, 2016
It is being reported that Amazon had decided not to continue with Hand of God after its forthcoming second season. The psychological drama, which stars Ron Perlman and Dana Delany, got its start on the streaming service back in 2014 with a single pilot episode that eventually resulted in a series order after positive viewer response.
The full first season followed in 2015 with a 10-episode run that drew decidedly mixed reviews from both audiences and critics. A second season was announced in December and is expected to premiere sometime in 2017.

I am so disappointed in Amazon for not renewing this show. I have told many people about it and they all plan to start watching. I just found out that it ends after season 2, can't believe it. It is one of the best shows on tv in a long time. The acting is wonderful and Ron Pearlman is awesome!!! Please Please reconsider AMAZON!

Amazon should have a season 3 and end the series with closure. I will probably drop amazon prime if there is no season 3

Ron Perlman plays this role perfectly. I don't think anyone else could do a better job.

Loved this show! Just finished seasoned season and I can't believe they've cancelled it! So much potential for more seasons. I guess Amazon had little patience and faith in the show. Very disappointing! I will miss watching it! Loved the acting and relationships. Great writing!

I loved this show and it had it all sex violence and even some comedy/dark humor thrown in here and there! Great cast and you couldn't have cast the judge better than having Ron Perlman play him and I loved the weirdness bcuz in the end all the storylines and characters came together and his son woke up in the final scene making me right then and there wish for a season 2 well we got it fans! A lil upset that it is being delayed as far as when it will air, it won't be till early 2017 now, but will be worth the wait! One of the great surprises of 2015 as far a streaming service tv series and I also LOVED 11/22/63 which was another amazing series! Well done Amazon!

So glad it is cancelled. Superb acting and story line completely destroyed by disgusting gratuitous graphic sex. Made me sick.

I love this show and am glad they are going to give it a last season, since things were left hanging. I think, by that time the story line would have run its course. It was so much about his son in a coma, who woke up at the end of last season. So the next season we can see what happened after he woke up and have everything tied up. Hopefully, we will get to see the outcome of his on and off relationship with God.

Good ... this show was a disaster from day one. I only watched it in hopes that Ron Pearlman's character would morph into Hellboy and decimate the morons in his city.
