The Amazon drama will return in 2017.

Amazon announced today that Hand of God has been renewed for a second season. The drama got its start with a single pilot episode in August 2014, which was followed up with a series order two months later after positive viewer response. The full first season eventually premiered in early September with all 10 episodes released on the same day.
Look for Season 2 of Hand of God in 2017.

strange i expected this to be chopped ive seen better series get the chop early on and this really hasnt done much or offered anything new, same old corruption and a guy running round talking about words from god so im kinda suprised to see it given a 2nd series id rather have seen another series of agent x or public morals..

YAY.... I'm glad they renewed this.. Dana Delaney and Ron Pearlman are great together. I love the show, and the twists and turns. The filler material is part of the story set up and I see so many possible avenues that it can take. With the strong acting talent and creative foundation that they have laid, I believe this show has a long road ahead of it.

Why? The show was not very good and dragged along from episode to episode. With a second season they need to do a better job of story telling and get rid of mush of the useless filler material that had little or nothing to do with the story line. I certainly can not see this show getting a 3rd season.
