The streaming drama will return later this year.

Amazon announced today that The Man in the High Castle has been renewed for a third season. The good news comes following last month's release of the show's sophomore season, and makes it only the second Amazon original drama to reach the third season mark.
A new showrunner is coming on-board for Season 3, filling a void left after Frank Spotnitz departed the series early in production of Season 2. Taking over going forward will be Eric Overmyer, who previously worked on Amazon's longest-running series, Bosch.
The Man in the High Castle is an original production of the streaming service and has become one of its more popular offerings. Loosely-based on the 1962 Philip K. Dick novel of the same name, the dystopian drama takes place in an alternate history where the United States has lost World War II and is now partitioned into three zones: a Japanese-occupied west coast, a Nazi-controlled east coast, and a neutral buffer zone that separates the two.
Look for Season 3 of The Man in the High Castle in 2018.

Yes there are times it is slow and a little hard to follow. But by the end of season1 and season2 it is all worth it!

I too struggled through the first few episodes, but stuck with it and by the end of the first season, I couldn't wait to watch the second. I burned through the second season is a couple of days. Well worth it.I'm a little concerned after reading thee will be a new show runner for the third season, but looking forward to where it goes next. If you are skeptical, give it a chance. It does have a bit of an alternate universe thing going on, so if you don't care for that kind of thing, it may not be for you.

Love the general concept of an alternate 1950s US. Yes it's slow. I'm currently at S02E02. I get the feeling they've written themselves into a corner with the stuff that is on the films everyone is hunting. Unless it improves a lot during S02 I won't hold my breath to see S03

i agree it started a bit slow, but interesting. by the end of the first season, it definitely picked up and was worth the time. when the second season came out, i went through it in a couple weeks and it was even better.

I just got prime, watched the first 2 eps at friends place, and am wondering the same thing. It was slow to start and I got the general idea but was not really into it. Please tell us if it is worth continuing. Now no fanboys fawning please. I want real opinions and observations.

I'd never heard of this, but seeing that it just got a 3rd season, I checked it out. I've watched the 1st 3 episodes. I do really like the concept, but it seems very slow. I'll try a few more, but with so many shows on the air, I'm just not sure....If anyone reads this and feels that it might be worth my time, please let me know
