The Amazon drama's upcoming season will be its last.
February 19, 2019
Amazon announced today that The Man in the High Castle will be concluding its story with its already-announced fourth season. Since its premiere in 2015, the alternate history drama has been one of the streaming services most popular and critically-acclaimed original series.
Loosely-based on the 1962 Philip K. Dick novel of the same name, The Man in the High Castle takes place in a dystopian alternate history where the United States has lost World War II and is now partitioned into three zones: a Japanese-occupied west coast, a Nazi-controlled east coast, and a neutral buffer zone that separates the two.
Look for the fourth and final season of The Man in the High Castle this fall.

I'm comforted by the fact in an alternate universe this show ran for ten great seasons, or in another was cancelled before it jumped the shark....

I feel like it could have gone two more seasons, I don't know that 10 episodes is enough to close it out. It will feel rushed, I'm sure, much like Jericho did. not sure why they made the call to make this the last season, it could be actor schedules, budgets, etc. Regardless, this show has steadily improved from the first episode, so that's been a real positive.

Haven't seen it, yet. But that's how it should be done. Give them notice in advance so they can plan a propper ending.

Will be missed, but it does fit with how the story has progressed. No point watering down the material or milking the series further. Hopefully we get a satisfactory ending and all the loose ends are wrapped up.

A fine series that will get a proper ending it seems.
