No Season 2 for the Canadian drama.
January 14, 2017
It is being reported that Aftermath has been cancelled after its first season. The Canadian-produced sci-fi drama ran for 13 episodes late last year but failed to find a sizeable audience on either side of the border.
Star James Tupper was first to break the news, posting to his Twitter account that the series will not be returning for Season 2. Tupper and co-star Anne Heche played a couple battling for the survival of their family when civilization as they know it comes to an apocalyptic end.

I actually enjoyed the show. Seems like the decent shows get cancelled, while we are forced into watching crap like the Real (what a joke!) Housewives, The Kartrashians, and other junk.

Wasnt the best show I'd ever seen but I still enjoyed it. I like Anne Heche 😊. Would've at least liked to see a wrap up to the story. 😔

Bad script and terrible overacting should never be rewarded, this show should have been euthanized after the second episode if not for the viewers sake then for the makers credibility.

Have to be honest we started watching it and got a fare bit through it but was getting off the rails it was becoming hard to follow and seriously was starting to make no sense I am not surprised it got cancelled.

Considering the garbage that is shoved down our throats these days, this show was provided purely for entertainment. Not the greatest cast, but non the less it had a different concept. It's a pity the show was cancelled. Given that 90% of the programming these days is crap, Aftermath provided entertainment. Isn't that what television is all about?

This show was strangely a "Men in Trees" rehash with actors from that show appearing in almost the same kinds of roles. It never made much sense.

Sad but not surprising. The only character I even liked was the dad. The rest were so annoying it was hard caring what happened to them. It could have been a pretty good show if we could have just followed a different family around.
