The drama will return for Season 2.
January 15, 2017
Hallmark Channel announced over the weekend that Chesapeake Shores has been renewed for a second season. The drama is the cable channel's most-recent original series, premiering last August for a nine-episode run that saw it become the most-watched show in Hallmark Channel history among key demographics.
Based on the novels by Sherryl Woods, Chesapeake Shores follows a career woman and single mother of two who takes a trip from New York City to the quaint hometown where she grew up. After realizing the toll her career has taken on her life, she considers staying in Chesapeake Shores permanently.
Look for Season 2 to return this summer with 10 new episodes.

Not usually the kind of show I watch but decided to take a chance. Glad I did, the show is great! Love the characters and I've always been a fan of Jesse Metcalfe and Treat Williams!

Wow, what an accomplishment! The most watched show EVER, on a channel about greeting cards!
