The comedy will end later this year.
January 30, 2017
Amazon Studios announced today that Red Oaks has been renewed for a third and final season. The comedy premiered in 2015 and has so-far aired a combined 20 episodes over two seasons. While today's news confirms that the series will be ending, the advanced notice gives its showrunners the opportunity to wrap up their characters' storylines as they see fit.
Set in the 1980s, Red Oaks tells the coming-of-age story of an NYU student at a crossroads in his life, who gets hired as an assistant tennis pro at a country club in suburban New Jersey. While there, he meets an eclectic group of coworkers and club members who offer him all sorts of unsolicited life advice.
Look for the final season of Red Oaks to premiere later this year.

I really liked the first season. Season 2 was much less interesting, and to me, uninspired. Not sure about the third... hopefully it's good. But will have to wait and see.
