The DC Universe comedy is pulled from the schedule.
April 25, 2017
Three episodes ahead of its first-season finale, NBC has pulled Powerless from its schedule effective immediately. The freshman comedy premiered earlier this year as a mid-season entry but through nine episodes has failed to attract a sizeable audience in its Thursday night time slot.
Set in the universe of DC Comics, Powerless follows a group of employees at Wayne Security in Charm City, which is home to a number of superheroes and villains - as well as citizens who are fed up of dealing with the collateral damage of their constant fighting.
It is not clear at this time if the unaired episodes of Powerless will make it to air.

That is a shame. I was really hoping this show would take off and get some really good writers and showrunners. it was really one of the few unique shows to come out in a VERY long time.

It lacked chemistry. The show never gelled. It's like a stew full of ingredients that just never became a proper soup. I won't miss it.

liked the show. I am placing this comment because I am shocked at the comment placed by Sally Boomer. She must be a real piece of work. A true bully who needs to get a life and hopefully her next one will be human.

Love Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches and Danny Pudi. Like Vanessa Hudgens. So I enjoyed the show. But it wasn't great -- it could have been so much better. I knew from the first episode that it would not get picked up, but I didn't care. I would like to see the last three episodes.

I kind of liked this show. It was a cute little parody of super hero programs that didn't seem to take itself too seriously. It wasn't a show that anybody should have realistically had great ratings expectations, but it could have been a fairly inexpensive show plodding along for a small but loyal fan base. I thought the casting was right on target. Maybe they could have made a go of it on SyFy, the CW or another specialty channel.

I don't know Hudgens as a person, but her character was actually the only one I liked, voice and all.

I wasn't trying to "pile on". I didn't eve see the previous, rather nasty, comment before I posted mine.

I found Alan Tudyk to be extremely over-the-top and irritating, which really ruined the show for me. I just hope that one day someone will create a GOOD show for Ron Funches. I think he's one of the funniest guys out there right now, but he keeps ending up on paltry shows like this one and Undateable.

To be honest, Wendy and the older woman were the least interesting characters. Should have had better people there. Ron Funches and Danni Pudi were amazing though. Alan Tudyk was over the top corny and wasnt a huge fan of him in this but I like Alan Tudyk. I dont see the issue with Vanessa Hudgens to be honest, her voice was just fine.
I really do hope the last few air though cause Im sure they had a season ending planned and itd be nice to close it off at least.

I liked the show and understand that it wasn't amazing but whoa... I feel the need to stand up for 'Hudgens'. She's a person, people. Be nice. Her morals are probably fine. Her voice and tone may bother you, but that's no ones problem your own. xD Jesus. Leave the poor girl alone.
