The Fox comedy will not return for Season 2.
May 11, 2017
Fox has cancelled APB after its first season. The procedural drama aired a 12-episode run earlier this year as a mid-season entry but ultimately failed to find an audience on Monday nights.
The series followed a billionaire engineer who, after witnessing the murder of his best friend, invests his wealth to take control over the over-extended and under-funded Chicago Police Department. With the district now equipped with a cutting-edge private police force, crime can be prevented more effectively than ever before.

Just incredible, every time I get interested in a new, unique and interesting show, it gets cancelled. It's mind boggling. They need to get rid of nielson ratings once and for all, they are no longer accurate, actually never were. They take to small a sample of people to correctly predict what people are watching. I know more shows where everyone I spoke to loved the show, rarely someone who did not. I mean seriously, do these people who cancel shows even watch TV?...soon I will stop watching network TV completely. Some of our greatest shows in history did not have good first seasons. Have you guys ever heard of MASH? All in the Family?...

ABC seems to be cancelling all kind of good shows right now. Money problems?

I am very disappointed that APB will not be renewed. I rarely watch TV because of the mindless reality shows and vulgar garbage that is aired every day of the week. I looked forward to seeing something different and interesting on Monday night. Very sad.

Why do stations cancel good shows like APB but renew stupid shows like Angie Tribecca. What has happened to peoples' minds?

I love this show and looked forward to it every Monday. I'm done. I will not watch any new tv show until it makes it into the second or third season because they cancel the shows I love and leave stupid shows in its place.

Liked the show. These networks don't even give the shows a chance. But they will drag on with reality shows.

I'm not usually one for cops dramas, but I really enjoyed this one. It was fun and different enough to be really compelling. It had interesting and likable characters too, so I'm really disappointed to see it got canceled.

Wow...I'm down to one show on FOX Network since they cancelled Rosewood and APB. I will be done with FOX once they cancel Lethal Weapon. Maybe Netflix might pick up these shows. They didn't even give Rosewood a good finale'.

Awe. Looks like Lucifer is it for fox but doesn't look good for it. I'm getting bored with Gotham and empire. Guess just Brooklyn 99 but even that has yet to be renewed.
