The Fox comedy will not return for Season 2.
May 11, 2017
Fox has cancelled APB after its first season. The procedural drama aired a 12-episode run earlier this year as a mid-season entry but ultimately failed to find an audience on Monday nights.
The series followed a billionaire engineer who, after witnessing the murder of his best friend, invests his wealth to take control over the over-extended and under-funded Chicago Police Department. With the district now equipped with a cutting-edge private police force, crime can be prevented more effectively than ever before.

Marcus and Cat, I feel the same way. Every time I find a show I like you can bet it's gonna get cancelled. Seems this new generation coming up really likes odd and weird shows, while the ones which make us think get the ax.
Shame...

My husband and I both loved this show and loved the tech. We are in our 50s and 60s and was truly interested in all the new tech that has been or possible could be created. Truly sorry that it was cancelled.

Why do fun new shows get canned APB, (Timeless, Class (BBC), Agent Carter, Galavant), etc - and so much of the same ol' dreck gets renewed? Thank God there are at least some watchers with enough taste to keep SOME god shows on!
Why can't APB have more time?! It was fun!!

There's absolutely no reason for this show to get picked up anywhere. This show was a horrible idea with horrible execution.

Hopefully Amazon, Netflix or Hulu will pick it up. It was on the verge of tackling some important issues of privacy, abuse of police power, and technology in the workplace.
